Não é segredo para ninguém que Drake é um fã declarado de Aaliyah. Ele que havia dado anteriormente algumas pistas de que participaria de um álbum póstumo da cantora falecida em 2001. E de acordo com a HipHopDx, Drizzy o sonho e desejo de trabalhar com o mito, em partes, está se tornando realidade com a possível estreia de um novo single com a sua cantora favorita no OVO Festival em Toronto, Canadá e com um boato de que ele também teria sido selecionado para ser o Produtor Executivo do misterioso álbum póstumo de Aaliyah.
Desde que, em março, o produtor Jeffrey “J. Dub” Walker anunciou que “Steady Ground” , uma canção inédita estaria no projeto póstumo, alguns amigos e familiares se manifestaram como Dr. Dre que disse em entrevista que não era certo ganhar dinheiro em cima dos mortos, e o irmão da cantora, Rashad Haughton, que afirmou que não havia nenhum álbum em obras.
Vamos ficar de olho, porque desde que Aaliyah faleceu, há mais de uma década, ouvimos dizer que lançariam material novo e inédito da cantora que morreu prematuramente aos 23 anos, após um acidente de avião, e nada! Recentemente um dos produtores que trabalharou com o mito, Bud’da, divulgou a letra de uma música, intitulada "CEO", que há anos ouvimos falar.
